Young Leaders for Change Summit

The Young Leaders for Change Summit was held on 24th March 2017 at the US Consulate, Kolkata. The objective of the workshop was to train the selected project team (students and the teachers) on the topics of leadership, sustainability, environment and development, whereby the project team can gain confidence and knowledge to implement the envisaged environmental action projects in their schools/immediate neighborhood in next few months under the project. The idea was to infuse in students the ability to design innovate things out of basic available resources that may include waste items. There were 30 students and 15 teachers from 15 participating schools (both government and private medium). The event was organized by Centre for Environment Education (CEE) .
