Summer Camp for 7-18 years

MakersLoft summer camps are designed for children to explore new hands-on skills and discover their interests. All camps focus on developing 21st century skills in children.

AGE: Camps are for students between age 7-18 years.

DATES: Between May 14 and June 15. All camps span 5 days, 2 hours each day, starting on a Monday and finishing on Friday. There will be a new batch starting every week.

3D Doodling

8-18 years
10.30-12.30 or 2-4pm (New batch every week, starting May 14)

Students learn how to bring their ideas to life. They will see how their 2D designs can be transformed into a 3D object. They will practice by hands, the concepts learned in Physics and Geometry.

12-15 years
10.30-12.30pm (New batch every week, starting May 21st)

Students learn how to build their own mobile phone application for Android phones, be it an alarm app or their own game. They will learn programming using MIT App Inventor free software. Students must bring their own laptop for the course.

LEGO Model Making

7-10 years
10.30am-12.30pm (New batch every week, starting May 21st)

Students will use Lego building parts and mechanisms to make models like pen bot, digital accessories, wearables etc. They will exercise their creativity and develop hands-on building skills to make a model from just an idea in their head.

13-18 years
2-4pm (New batch every week, starting May 21st)
Students will understand basic electronics and how things work. They will be introduced to physical programming, the concept of Arduino and make sample projects.
Students must bring their own laptop for the course.

12-15 years

Students will learn how robots work and key principles of Robotics. Each students will build and program interactive robots using sensors, motors, wheels, axles etc.
Students must bring their own laptop for the course.

Scratch Programming

8-13 years
2-4pm (New batch every week, starting May 14)
Students will learn to create their own interactive presentations, games, and animations using Scratch, a free software from MIT. They will learn block based programming
